Francesca Sanguineti
Born and raised in Genoa, Italy, I had the chance to get in touch with different cultures from an early age. After occupying managerial roles in the retail fashion industry, I embarked on a transformative journey to pursue a career in research and academia. During the second year of my doctoral studies, I had the privilege of spending a semester at Georgia State University in CIBER as a visiting scholar.
This invaluable experience allowed me to engage in doctoral seminars, collaborate with insightful colleagues, and learn from renowned international scholars. Between August 2020 and July 2021, I also had the honor of serving as a research fellow at CIBER, further enriching my academic and professional experience.
The fusion of my international management education and industry background in retailing ignited a profound curiosity for Organizational Behavior and International Business. My primary areas of interest revolve around organizational behavior, health care and life sciences, entrepreneurial exit, and Global Value Chain dynamics, all of which I passionately explore in my academic pursuits. I am thrilled to share that I have recently been appointed as a Junior Researcher in Organisational Studies. This role allows me to delve deeper into these fields and contribute to our understanding of their dynamics.
As I continue on this academic journey, I look forward to sharing my insights, research findings, and experiences with you through this platform. Together, let’s explore the fascinating world of International Business and Organisational Studies. Welcome to my corner of knowledge and discovery!
